» Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price you see on our plans page is the price you'll be paying.

» How long will it take for my account to be activated?
PowerWebNet strives to set up accounts the same day as ordered. If an order is placed during normal business hours, orders may be processed in only a few minutes. If an order is placed in the middle of a night, when the least amount of staff is available, orders may take slightly longer to process.

» Do you provide a custom package?
Yes! Looking for more space or bandwidth? Looking for more emails or MySQL Databases? Looking for more of anything? Feel free to email us at sales@powerwebnet.com and we'll work out a custom package for you.

» I don't have a credit card, or feel uncomfortable using one, do I have other options?
At the moment, we only accept credit card payments.

» Can I have more then 1 domain on the same account?
Yes, you can host as many 'addon' or 'parked' domains as you'd like, on top of your main domain. All domains will share the same space and bandwidth that your plan provides. Please note that you will only have ONE cPanel for administration of all domains.

Parked Domain: Allows you to point a domain name at your main website.
Addon Domain: Allows you to setup a separate domain with it's own files.

» Can my account be upgraded anytime?
Please email support@powerwebnet.com for any upgrades/downgrades you would like to your account.

» Are there any contracts I have to sign?
No. However, all clients must agree to and follow our Terms of Service.

» What happens if I go over my bandwidth limit?
If you exceed your monthly bandwidth allotment, your site will not be turned off automatically. You will have the choice of sending in an upgrade request, or having your site shut down so you do not incur any extra fees.

» Can I have subdomains off my domain?
Yes. Subdomains can be created via your control panel, however the amount that you can create will be limited depending on which package you choose.

» Can I register a domain with you?
Yes. Registering a domain is simple, we can do that for you at a cost of $20/year

» What happens if you change your package plans after I have ordered?
If we change our plans in any way after you have ordered and paid, the price you paid for your package will remain the same. However, when you renew your package or order another package, you will be charged the new prices.

» Are Frontpage Extensions supported?
Yes Frontpage extentions are provided for clients at no extra cost.
However please be aware that they do take up a reasonable amount of space.

» Do I get a control panel?
Yes, we provide you with your own control panel.

» Can I host a Warez site?
NO! No warez sites, files, boards, etc are allowed!

» Can I host a Mp3 site?
NO! No mp3 sites, mp3 files, etc are allowed!

» Can I host an Adult site?
NO! No Adult sites are allowed!

» Do you allow IRC Channels/Bots/Clients?
No. Any client caught running any irc channels/bots/clients will have their account terminated immediately.

» Will you install a CGI/PHP script for me?
Yes, just email support@powerwebnet.com and we will install it for a small fee.

We are not accepting resellers at this time.

A large datacenter in Houston, Texas.

Our servers are running Dual Pentium 4 Xeon 2.0GHz processors, with 1GB DDR RAM, and dual 73GB 10K RPM SCSI hard drives.

Just open up your browser and point it to http://www.yourdomain.com:2082.

» How do I update my site?
To upload to your site, you'll need a FTP Program (CuteFTP, BulletProof FTP, etc) and FTP to ftp.yourdomain.com and use your given username and password.

» I've uploaded/updated my site, but don't see the changes?
Make sure that you uploaded your files to the "public_html" directory and that you have included an "index.html", "index.htm" or "index.php" file. Please note that these are case-sensitive.

» How do I add email addresses?
Log into your control panel and click on the " Manage Accounts " link in the Email menu.

» How do I make an email address redirect to my other email address?
Once you have added a new email address, click on the " Forwarders " link in the Email menu. That will take you to another page where you can enter the email address you want to redirect to.

» How do I add an autoresponder?
Once you have added a new email address, click on the " Auto Responders " link in the Email menu. That will take you to another page where you can change the auto-respond message.

» How do I add a protected directory?
Log into your control panel and click on the "Web Protect" link under Site Management. There you can create protected directories.

» How do I create a MySQL database?
Log into your control panel and click on the "Manage MySQL" link under Databases. There you can create a new database with your desired database name and database username/password.

» How can I telnet to my site?
Telnet is disabled for security reasons.

» How do I cancel my account?
If in the case you would ever want to cancel your account, we want to make this process as easy on you as possible. Please send an email to support@powerwebnet.com that includes your full name, address, city, state, zipcode, domain name, home phone number, username, and password. Please ensure that this information is the same information that you used in the account creation/setup process.

» How long does it take for my domain to work?
Once you setup your domain to point to our nameservers, it takes a minimum of 24 hours to a maximum of 72 hours for your domain to be updated and working. If your domain still doesn't work after 72 hours, please email us at support@powerwebnet.com
